Rachel Chalmers
Co-founder, Co-GP
Rachel has spent two decades identifying undervalued technical founders before the market caught up. Her sourcing record includes early involvement in Honeycomb.io, Docker, Aviatrix, and LaunchDarkly, built from the inside of developer infrastructure communities. She has served as Managing Director of Alchemist Accelerator, Venture Partner at Merian Ventures, and Partner at Heavybit. She co-founded Generationship on the conviction that technical female founders in software infrastructure represent the most systematically underpriced opportunity in venture capital.
Michelle Yi
Co-founder, Co-GP
Michelle has 20 years of experience in AI and cloud computing. She was a core contributor to the IBM Watson system that competed on Jeopardy, and has since led applied AI initiatives across enterprise and social impact contexts, including work with the American Cancer Society and the United Nations. She serves on the board of Women in Data. She co-founded Generationship to back the engineers who are building the infrastructure layer of the AI platform shift.

Rachel has long volunteered with the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association as a puppy raiser. When her most recent puppy, Melbourne, made it clear he did not want to work, Michelle adopted him, and he has been a core part of the team ever since.
